What the 5 senses are for.
Everybody loves Nemo. Yeah im talking bout the fishie, Nemo. But eversince people actually "love" nemo, they go out and buy clown fishes to put it their tanks. And most fishies that they get for their tanks, are almost extinct. Whats gonna happen to the whole eco-system?! As it is, our whole planet is just screwd up....just..stop makin it worst!
I saw those salt water fishies in a pet shop in Ikano, and the fishies were beautiful with vibrant colours...but they dont look like they're alive. I mean like, hello! They dont belong in tanks! they're from the "big Blue". So many coral reefs are actually being destroyed to retrieve these treasures. For god's sake...just leave it as it is.
URGH.
this aint the only problem, aight. Duh. Jungles being torn down...honestly, I have never went into a jungle before i went for NS. And i was scared out of my pants. No shit. Hey im just another shallow city chick...no...i WAS.
And so, i made up so many types of excuses for me to escape the jungle excersises. But hell, the trainers just said..."nahh..its okay lah...just go in and u just stay there...it'll be okay."Fine. and so i went in...and i was soo scared that i even almost barfed. So we reached our check point, and we had to build our own shack. While we were builing it, i had found so many different type of sights and sounds of the jungle..it was so soothing. The greeneries....the blissful sounds... I also learnt to appreciate the different tastes and textures of the jungle.Trust me. I did. There was this one fruit...Bertam fruit. It has skin like the salak fruit..scaley and brownish in colour. The flesh smells like rambutan, but it tastes like the coconut flesh. Really unique. And there was this one leech which looked like Flubber...it was soooooo cute. That was the very first leech ive seen. That was how shallow and amazingly lost i was. sheesh.
So i guess we just gotta let the mass learn and see things for themselves. Not just telling them about it. Let them experience it. Let them see, touch, smell, hear and taste the whole experience. well... its sad to see those fishies though. And they're selling at a very very high price.Thats very unfair. They probably just caught the fish and sell it off. thats a 100% profit, dammit.
Well, people...if yall love nemo, dont buy no nemo.
