19th February 2005

Am at home, with the background sound of some people jamming, 2 houses away. I'm assuming they're having a ball. Though the guys' performances are rather confusing...Are they playing The Darkness or dangdut? The guitar solos are okay, but the drum's beats sound like dangdut's...seriously. I was laughing so hard out on my porch listening to them. Oh, well. Maybe I should get a few people to play good hardcore muisc for my dad's 5oth birthday this year. weee.

Today,
started real late.
Had to listen to the sem 4 guys play... Lagu Dashboard...haha. Not bad.
Got back home, i was pretty bored. So i watched School Of Rock. That movie never fails to make me laugh. Another good one is My Best Friend's Wedding.

6.15,
Salwa and Mariah my cousins picked me and adik up for tea at our usual spot, Mamak Bistro!
Salwa's new boyfriend had joined us. Man, does he seem different from the pictures. I thought he looked quite cute...and would be a little bit more....masculine. But he turned out to be like an old school friend of mine and Salwa's...Sheikh Muhsin, who's funny, more in touch with his softer side i would say. Haha.. he's funny, though. Whatever it is, its all good. Yay!

Today
my mom cooked Kacang pool. I dunno what it's real name... But on the can its called "foul Beans"! Haha.In arab its pronounced as 'fool'. When it comes out from the can, it does smell a little foul. haaha. I think the dish originated from the middle east. The beans, cooked with minced meat with some spices for some kick to it, is usually eaten with onions, chillies, and french loaf! Or rather, "freedom" loaf. Yumm. I remember as a child, i hated to eat kacang pool because of the condiments. My grandad used to scold me for wasting them. Now, i absolutely love kacang pool. Foul beans, hah! its anything but foul. ironic.

Song of the day : Collapse by Sparta.
