Happy New Year!
Yes, today is the first day of 2006. *sigh* Time sure flies fast. When it comes to this time of the year, everybody will blo about how their past year had been. Good, bad, horrilble, terrific. Well, no matter how bad or great it was, we should be thankful. Life's like a wheel. And i believe in that saying. Some times you do great....other times you feel like crap. They don't call it life for fun. Heh.
The past year had deffinately been...great. In different ways. Though my family and i hadn't been financially stable like the years before, but i learnt a lot from being broke. Well. I still have a bad financial habbit, but i see things in a different point of view lah. Imagine if i get money more easily... i'de prolly be a major shopaholic. Hmm. I mean, even with my broke-ness i still shop, and have power lunches. In the end, i always feel guilty of letting my money run out of my bank account like a loose water tap.
Oh well.
I hear the National Service advertisement playing on the idiot box. And the tv's on the other room. Sheesh.
Oh i know one thing is for sure. About the past year i mean. My friends in college had been awesome. Though we may not be the closest friends, i have to admit. It was fun hangin with you guys. We share amazing knowledge on geography (peru in Brazil/Europe) , Taste in music (Incubus, Brandon boyd, Foo Fighters and Dave Grohl), Power Lunches (Teapot cafe, Italiannese thanks to Dee!), Our own By demand Top Ten chart, and our Enthusiasm on shopping as a sport.
My non college friends had been great too. Credits given especially to Dee! Who knew we'd be on the same campus... hahaha. Raya makan sessions were awesome. To be able to see familliar faces just brings a smile upon my face. Though we really need to meet up more often. Yum Cha sessions tak cukup lah last year.
