Blue sky Holiday...

Happy Holidays! Christmas is just around the corner, and i bet y'all are excited for the big dinners and fruitcakes and turkeys and mistletoes, huh. Have a merry Christmas to all who celebrate it.

Also, Selamat Hari Raya Haji to my Muslim friends. Yeah although Raya Haji is at the end of the month.

So... most of us (my college friends) are enjoying the privillage of being able to laze around, watch telly, spring clean, go online, bonding woth old friends and get some extra Zs. Are you guys bored yet? Hehehe. My mom, sister and i, on the other hand, got to tag along with my dad's conference come brainstorm session in Port Dickson. Don't you think "Port Dickson" sounds rather...posh?

Okay if it doesn't, think of it this way... Think of a Port. Like Orange County-ish kinda seaside town.

Now think of an English dude called Mr Dickson, who lived in a white house in Malaya during the colonial times.

Does it sound Posh-y now? Hahaha. Okay, it doesn't matter if it doesn't...because PD is filthy. It's sad, really. I think, and i know the town has so much potential. But the state government is too ambitious about making it a holiday spot, to the point that it became a mess. No proper planning. grr.

I had a great time, nontheless. The hotel we stayed at was nothing to shout about...but to shout at. Guoman resort. Aida was right. She had to right a review on the place, and man, i hope she finds something nice to say. hehehe. Can la i guess. The pool's like, 2.4 metres deep. Which i like.

During the whole 3 days we were there, we spent it all mostly by the pool. And the beach. The beach was a dissapointment. It had like, coarse sand and pebbles. When the tide is low, you can practically see pieces of dead corals washed ashore. That's not good. It indicates what's going on under the sea. I felt sad.

Anyway. There wasn't any hot water while we were there. From day one till we left, there was no friggin' hot water! When we informed the woman at the receptionist, she said..."yeah, we've got someone taking care of that" on Day 1. So, Sejuk la kitorang.

I've got myself some tanlines. I'm brown like fried chicken. HAHA. I like. I bet my face will peel in a few days. Man. : (

I had a blue sky holiday, and i couldn't have asked more......... Actually, i can. But i'm content. Hehehe.
