I'm all dressed up to go to college. Exams and classes are over, but we need to get the posters for the gig's audition up, and stamped by the admin. I'm just waiting for my mom to send me over.
I wanna go out and chill with friends, right now! But everybody is so busy with their new lives. Anybody who's free and bored, lemme know...we can go for a drink or something, after buka. PLEASE call.
This year's raya is gonna be different. My dad's Kampung is no longer a place for families to bond. It's more like a place for aunts/uncles/neices/nephews/cousins to bitch about other aunts/uncles/neices/nephews/cousins. Is that sad, or what. Eversince my Dad's parents are loooong gone, everybody is just being so hypocritic, and such back-stabbers. I hate it. Who does? They sure seem to like it.Fuck, I miss those times when us cousins and uncles and aunts and great grand uncles and aunts would go have outings...those were the times when everyone was still sincere and being honest with each other. Man, they're all major bitches. Most of em, at least. Siapa makan cili, dia terasa pedas.
On my mom's side, they're all over in Singapore. As far as i know, they have issues, too...but they handle it differently. I'm not playing favourites here...but at least i dont feel so left out, even though my mom has been living away from her biological family all her life. She was taken cared by her aunt... Her biological dad's younger sister. But we all feel apart of the family. They don't make us feel like they have a problem, and we're pulled into it.
Anyway, conclusion is, even families nowadays are like crap. extended families, especially. Its so sad. Actually, more like pathetic. uurgh.
