A Walk down Raja Chulan.
Yeah.
That was what my mom, sister and i did tonight. Dad had a Dinner to attend to, so we tagged along up to the Istana hotel on Jalan Raja Chulan. Took the monorail to Times square on Jalan Imbi. I know some roads of kl now. haha. Mom thought it was a real adventure to walk around kl, at night without dad along...The man of the house. Cute. Really cute. Really...no sarcasm here.
Driving in K.L is madness la.
Roads there are like, blocked arteries. Its bad...Its hazardous.
The K.L skyline, however is quite intriguing. At least, i find it intriguing.
From afar, tall buildings rise out of nowhere in the darkness.
From the tin mining center...to a city center. But yeah...
We are still decades behind leading countries.
I'm not just talking bout our infrastructure...
Frame of minds, ethics, attitudes.
We all know this. Yet,
Here we are....
Old habits die hard, i guess. Though i believe we can change.
Singapore did it, why can't we? "a small country"
Shouldn't be the issue here.
Australia is huge.
But they're consistent with their systems.
If given a chance, i wouldn't wanna live in K.L.
Too hectic, loud, crazy for me to handle.
Even Subang Jaya is getting out of hand.
Driving sucks nowadays.
Especially when i'm still not fully recovered from the trauma of being hit by another car.
Slowly, i will.
