Listening to Times Like These by Jack Johnson

I've finally let out a sigh of relief after a week of running around getting things done for the "Unboxed" event. Syireen, the lecturer that we've been stuck with through out the two and a half years in college with, called for our help about a week ago. Can you imagine? We worked our butt off in just a week. We were mainly Alison, Liyana and i. Li and i were directed to take care of the rooms decorations, while Alison was to make sure the walls in the corridor were filled with infomation about whatever there is about Communication.

The themed rooms looked very pathetic, at first. While Li, Syireen and i were stoning away trying to think of how to make it look less pathetic that it already was, Mr Loy Tik Ean (or however you spell it) saved the day! Hahaha, it may sound a little over the top, but he really did help us a lot. Hoho. Especially with LOY TAPE. You know, the cellophine tape. It turned out to be, it's his father's company!

In the whole time span of us working on this project, he was probably the only most interesting thing that came along.

Hahahahaha.

I sure had some fun doing this project, though...despite having dark circles under my eyes. I was up by six am or at least seven for the past week. I know its nothing to complain about, but i've been waking up at the 11th hour for the past 2 months during the holiday. So i'm experienceing some jet lag. haha.

Never had i imagine that i's do painting and making so many cardboard cut outs of colourful fishes or fake bon fires. Sigh. That reminds me, i still haven't cleaned the paint brushes properly yet. Grr.

Alison, Li and i went bonkers by the time the event started on friday. We made styrofoam Spongebob, his pinapple house, and his friend Patrick who turned out to be too hot of a shade of Pink.

Oh well. The event turned out fine, i guess on our part. But the project management could've been improved...like, by a 100 times. Grr.

Lesson of the week:
Practice what you preach.
