Announcement, everybody.

I can drive a stick!

In my last few posts, my attempt in driving the bloody manual Proton saga failed. I just got panicked with my dad screaming in my left ear. My second attempt to drive a stick (after what, 2 and a half years?) was a success. Without my dad screaming, ok. I'm berpuas hati. My sister enjoys making me sound like i'm a bimbo who doesn't know how to drive. Sheesh. I drive pretty good. Just that i don't have a car. Damn. Dee knows i'm a good driver. And those of my school friends know it too. Because those times, i drove my mom's car. Now, no more. : (

Over the weekend i've discovered one thing. Well, possibly a million other petty things, but one thing's for sure. I thougt I had weird friends. But nothing beats MY dad's friends. One of his oldest friends from his MAS days in the 70s, hosted his son's wedding. So a few of their colsest friends got together, and maaaan, were they weiiird.

One of 'em got all his sons together and formed a band. Cool, eh? They play at functions as such. His sons are all from different mothers. I swear!! He has 3 wives! at the same time. And seriously, they all are living happily ever after. He has 14 kids altogether, from 28 to 14, or something. My goodnesss. The man's mildly horny. You can tell (duh). But aparently he used to be worst! Hahaha. But damn it, he's a fucking
good guitarist. He was effortless solo-ing to Santana's "Black Magic Woman" and "Summertime" without a care in the world. He has long frizziy hair like A. Samad said, except he hasn't a strand of white hair (even at 56), and looks pretty good without a paunchy belly. A total opposite of my dad. THANK goodness. Weird and scary he may seem, he really is a nice guy. What's more amazing is that he is able to be fair to all his children! They all seemed happy with the band, from what i saw. Hilarious, he was too.

Another of my dad's guy friend was a brilliant bassist. Like, no other, maybe. He's big and round, and brown... and he looked (i swear) like a cuddly bear! Hahaha. he has that deep Bass-y voice, and he's hilarious as well. I wish to see all of them play in a band again.

I remember following my dad to their jam sessions. It's all a blur, but i can vaguely remember my dad simply hopping from one instrument to another. Hahaha, he may not be a guitar whizz, or a piano master...or a beat buster...but he plays it all. Here's a picture of my dad and the guy-with-3-wives-and-fourteen-kids performing for the pengantins. :D

Doesn't this reminds you of a 60's Kugiran?

"She's a Black Magic womaaaaan,"

Eheh.
Since the pictures had that old school feel, this one should too.
