Aviators

I would highly recommend everyone to watch The Legend of Johnny Lingo. It was on Starmovies this afternoon. It's a story about hope, love, loyalty and wisdom. Portrayed in the days when the Maoris were still in power in the New Zealand key islands, the show is able to tickle you with humour and tip the scale to make you feel inspired.

Johnny Lingo is a title, for the most powerful person in the island and its surrounding islands. There once lived a Johnny Lingo who was a wealthy trader, who was also wise and kind. Everyone on his island loved and respected him. Almost everything that comes out from his mouth is honest, sincere and wise.

Some of his lines in the movie which moved me was,

"Love is the most expensive comodity...
The more you pay for it, the better. But the question is, Are you willing to pay for it?"

"You have to admit your mistakes, Tama...That's how you grow"

I could tell you the story now, but then where's the fun there. Great acting, great scenes, great moral values, and definately great music tracks on it. Though the movie, i'd rate 10 out of 10, don't be discourage by the presentation of the movie's website. It's not too good, but hell. It's the movie that's good. I cried everytime Johnny Lingo blurts out a wise statement. Powerful, man the script.

Had goooood lunch today with the folks. Just me and them. Sister went on with her primary school friends to do some catching up. It's been awhile since we ate a complete 3 course meal. hahaha. Sedap. Had a nice time.

Finally i got the aviators. yay.
