I never really realised that refraining myself from buying anything while a day out at the mall, would be so hard. OH, the agony! I know some of yall (setans) will say..."BUY only laaaa.eyer."

But hey, this isn't just about being broke anymore.

It's Self Discipline.

Yeah, who am i kidding. AHHA. But really...I could have bought many things...or not. Depends. My point here is, Why shop, when you can keep the money, and let it grow in the bank? Or even if it doesn't grow so fast (not overnight, anyway), simply collect some more lah. From your paychekcs, if you have some...or from the allowance we get from our parents. Sigh. I thought it was kachang je.

But man, when i saw the Benefit counter, yesterday...I went kinda head over heals for the lippie and eye colour set. Wasn't worth 140 ringgit, but hey, advertising, marketing and packaging are powerful! They make you drool even if the product isn't worth shouting for. After 15 minutes of bickering with li and adik, they managed to drag me away from the counter. Thank god. I was >this<>many many things that i wanted and could've bought. I felt teribble, that i didn't buy anything for the sake of 'just because'. I truly felt empty. My hands felt empty, my bag felt empty. But at the end of the day,(more like a day later) i'm glad i didn't empty my bank account. My heart didn't feel as empty anymore! I stuck to my budget...and hmm, i'm satisfied! Whee!

I like this time of the year...So many celebrations, for everyone, which will promise great decorations, great company, great colours, great atmosphere, great time and of course...great food.
