Life is a shipwreck but we must not forget to sing in the lifeboats. ~Voltaire
Just because you're miserable doesn't mean you can't enjoy your life. ~Annette Goodheart

I love this line. It's so simple. The thing is, reading it is easy. Even understanding and grasping the idea of it is easy. But how many of us can actually execute the "simple" idea of being that optimistic?

I had the blues because I had no shoes until upon the street, I met a man who had no feet. ~Ancient Persian Saying

Sometimes (Most of the times, more like it), we feel like we're the most unluckiest person on the face of the Earth. Truth is, we all get unlucky at times. I believe in the wonders of God. He taketh some, he giveth something back in one way or another. Take Stevie Wonder as an example... He's blind, but have been blessed with talents that led him to his success. But he couldn't have done that, had he been moping around about how he's friggin' blind.

Happiness is an attitude. We either make ourselves miserable, or happy and strong. The amount of work is the same. ~Francesca Reigler

Yeah, the amount of work is the same. Ironically, it seems easier to just feel miserable. In the long run, it really is easier to be happy than being ridiculously miserable.

If you don't like something change it; if you can't change it, change the way you think about it. ~Mary Engelbreit

No one's telling you to be chirpy in the morning, if that's not your thing. But try looking at things that are out of your control, in a fresh perspective. Like, if the weather is scorching hot, can you really, do anything, anything at all about it? No, so just sip on some cocktails and enjoy the blue skies.

The only disability in life is a bad attitude. ~Scott Hamilton

Tsk tsk tsk. We don't like people with bad attitude. Nor do we intend to be people with bad attitude, right? Well, we just need a little something to keep reminding ourselves.

There are no menial jobs, only menial attitudes. ~William J. Bennett, The Book of Virtues

Most Malaysians could learn a thing or two being appreciative to those who don't have the most glamorous jobs. I see people who clean the toilets, or the garbage truck men...the bus drivers, the train drivers in other countries are so proud of doing their jobs right. They sound so dignified when they speak. They don't sound stupid, at all. It all comes down to "attitude".

Every thought is a seed. If you plant crab apples, don't count on harvesting Golden Delicious. ~Bill Meyer

This reminds me of myself. And i'm sure most of us have done this too... after we receive our exam results or assignment grades, we go "Oh my god, i can't believe i got a C for this. I bet the teacher's a...bla bla bla". Well. I shall think before i whine. Hahaha.

When you feel dog tired at night, it may be because you've growled all day long. ~Author Unknown

Could we change our attitude, we should not only see life differently, but life itself would come to be different. ~Katherine Mansfield

Whenever you fall, pick something up. ~Oswald Avery

Too many people miss the silver lining because they're expecting gold. ~Maurice Setter

The world is full of cactus, but we don't have to sit on it. ~Will Foley

A happy person is not a person in a certain set of circumstances, but rather a person with a certain set of attitudes. ~Hugh Downs

Hahaha. Here's to us...May we think before we whine...because the grass always, always looks greener on the other side.
