Yay, so finally the holidays are here!

I can now watch TV, wake up later than usual, sleep later than usual, go out more than usual, go online a little bit more than usual. Basically, it's fun la, okay.

I was just browsing on the internet for clothes and things i would probably shop for, and i came across this article about workers in sweatshop in the States. Just last week, Mr Justin was saying something about human rights and the workers who get ill treated in factories.

Apparently in 2001, our favorite clothing store, Forever 21 faced a problem with workers from six of their factories who made their clothes. The workers announced an official boycott, as they claimed that they were underpaid, and the working conditions were really bad.

Often as consumers, we go 'gaga' over the brand, the designer, the advertising campaign, the image, the spokesperson...but what goes on beyond the store rooms and where it came from...we seldom care. As long as we look fabulous, right?
