Hello All.

As per requested, here is an update.
So stop calling me crazy cat woman! Hahaha.

I've been meaning to update yall with my ever-so-interesting life...but i've been busy playing chor tai ti after class. Right Karuna? And when she says one round, it'll most likely be SEVEN bloody rounds.

So yeah, i waste quite a bit of time amidst the busy-ness.

I wanted to write about my new found interest; Gardening. I think i may have green fingers. My mom says "Everything you tanam, hidup". So...i must have green fingers, then. But more often than not, i'm too lazy to do it. But i do enjoy getting down and dirty. No, not that kind, but the kind like digging the earth and poking the earthworms with my spade, preferably with gloves on.
Another thing i enjoy is... Baking. Hahaha. Am i starting to sound like a housewife in the making or what? But seriously... it's fun. It's like playdoh playtime, except you can eat them, soon after. I made scones the other day, and (with my clean, dirt-free fingers), i carefully mix the butter with flour till it becomes coarse crumbles. So therepeutic, but best of all, it has a yummy outcome.

Anyway, i just came back from Port Dickson yesterday. Aida and i had the privilage of receiving the media invite from the Avillion Admiral Cove. It's this really new hotel, which is an extension of the ir own marina, which actually is a sailing club. A couple of other publications, like Berita Harian, Malaysian Tatler, and Kosmo were there... and they took us on a boat cruise from PD, to Sungai Linggi...which took us about 3 hours just to get there, and we had to switch to a smaller boat to get up to Sungai Timun.

It was a very interesting thing, because we weren't told that we were gonna look for crocs in Sungai Linggi. And i'm not even talking about them floating shoes. I meant the real reptiles that steve irwin loved.

So after we swtiched to a smaller boat, we each said a silent prayer. And what do you know, we saw 4 crocs by the muddy river banks as we go further up the river. But we didn't really get to see the whole croc, because they slipped right into the water as the boat approached. It was either they were timid creatures or they were lurking right underneath our boats, just waiting to strike.

I sure hope it wasn't the latter. But we sure got back in one piece, so thank god.

The next day, we were treated to a game of paintball and aqua soccer, between us media people and the hotel's management. Paintball was alright, but we were only given 50 palletes (bullets) instead of the usual 200. We were given 5 minutes to play, but in less than 2, we all got gunned down by the hotel's management team. ahaha.

The aqua soccer was apparently the first ever in Malaysia. If you're asking what is it...imagine playing soccer in a giant kiddie pool. It's slightly smaller than the size of a futsol court, and is filled up with water about a foot high. The ball floats, so everytime you try to kick the ball, you'll end up spalshing water into your opponent's face. Or, you would just slipp and fall, thus getting soaked. If you think it sounds ridiculous, you're right.. it is. But once you get in the game, you'll have too much time worrying about what others may think. It was so funny, that i almost pissed in my pants. But i didn't. hehe.

And so, my cheeks are pink as a result of playing in the harsh beach sun for a couple of hours. I bet they'll peel horribly tomorrow.

I'd upload the pics, but i havent gotten it from Aida. But you're welcomed to look on facebook. Aida has uploaded them into an album.

: )
