James H. Boren quotes

It's been two weeks since the surgery i had. It's scary how time flies so fast.

Don't get me wrong... I wanna heal fast, but it's just scary how we get so caught up in doing our thing without realising how much time we've wasted.

So for those who are interested in what the diagnose iof my 'tumor' is, It's called Lymphangioma. Google it. It's rare, it looks like an alien, and thankfully, it's gone now.

I now have a 15 centimetres scar that's vertical on my belly, although i think doctor Anis did a great job with the stitchings. He used the below-the-skin-type of stitchings, so that when it heals it wouldn't look like horrible train tracks.

Dr Siti, the gynae who also conducted the surgery was so sweet. She kept dreamming of me every night. hahahaha. Apparently she was worried because the lab didn't come back with the result of what the tumor was. But on saturday, she gave a sigh of relief.

On that same saturday, i had the stitchings taken out. Right after the doctor gave a green light, i went to the nearest shopping mall. I did the same that same night. :D But still, i could only walk slooooooowly. But it works.

Unfortunately, while i could rejoice in going out to a mall after the 10th day of surgery, i received an sms that was rather grey. A close schoolmate of mine had lost her elder brother. He passed away on that same morning. Nobody was quite sure how he died, but we were all shaken by it.

So, you see... we musn't let time pass us by. Make it a point to count our blessings and live in the moment. Appreciate what you DO have, and worry less about what you don't. You can strive on having what you don't have yet..but don't make it an obsession. :)

Till i write again!
Take care!
