Tis the 'mating season'. Kenduri Kendara ev-e-ry-where. Everyone's in a hurry to get hitched, with the Ramadhan month coming around the corner. Even an old school friend of mine is getting married... at 21!!! I can't imagine. There are even clashes of weddings for people to go to. Haha. It should be interesting to see everyone's cholesterol spiking up to dangerous levels this month.

That's how my dad got the heart attack last year, anyway. He ate and ate and ate at countless kenduris... till his heart just gave way. Thankfully, he made it through. Only to see how nothing much has changed since last year... for others, at least. While he chomps down on fruits and vegetables, others just devour Nasi Minyak like there's no tomorrow. Ironically, it will be that way unless one changes their eating habits. I, speak for myself. :P

This weekend alone, i have a cousin's engagement to attand to and a Doa selamat for another cousin who'll be going off to a med school in Alexandria, of Egypt.

Ah, Happy occasions.
