Friday the 27th of October.

We (Li, MT, Junie and i) went to Bukit Bintang for lunch. We laughed at nothingness all the way to and from BB. The sky was FINALLY blue that day, and we took the oppurtunity of inhaling some (somewhat) fresh air. MT was so happy we went out that day. I think. hahaha. She had fun, she said. Again and again! Saturday the 28th of October.

DeeeeeeeepaRAYA open house it was, in at Shaji's place. It was super happening okay! Never have i experienced such a colourful event! The Tent, the FOOD, the people, the MUSIC, dei. Ultimately Macha-istic! ANd how can i forget...my old mates. Anisha, Asha, Shaji and Shahidah.

Had great fun chilling with them...Just like good 'ol times when things were easier. Like going to SCHOOL. hahaha. Asha, who is now doing her degree in Psychology will be our future shrink. We were saying it takes another psycho to treat another one. :D Then, we'll call when there's a prolem...example: "Ashaaa, my Boyfriend left meeee" Asha: "Firstly, what did YOU do?" AHHAHA

Sunday the 29th of October.

Maaaaakan lagi. This time satay at my uncle's house. Met some more cousins. But not many. 'Cause the open house is more for my uncle's collegues. Family Open house lain hari. Had great fun talking with aunt and layan-ing my younger cousin...who's damn naughty okay. She's 9. Ganas, naughty and funnnyyy. Anyhoo. Pictures some more:

HEY ho. Puasa dah habis, HO. Means nanti gemok balik, HO. hohoho.

This raya was nice. It's not like any of the raya's before...Well, right up till noon on the first day of raya la. How was yours? Anybody who didn't have lemang with Rendang ayam on Raya day should be wacked in the head. I mean, how can you not? hehehe. Impossible, impossible.

I had lemang since the eve of Raya. Hahaha. Bad stuff? No. GOOD stuff.

Oh by the way, i miss yall in S'pore. My Chin-yan-yu Clan cousins. And atok and nenek. And the FOOD. That's what i miss most. eheheh. Jangan marah, Ashid. I know you're reading this. hehe. Oh and how can i forget... the money!!

I spent my Raya in Rembau, Negeri Sembilan. It was one of the simplest Hari Raya i've had in a loooooooong time. It's simple, in many ways. The atmosphere, the food, the money, the company... So simple, that it's nice.

Usually my Raya's would be pretty hectic, when we go back S'pore to visit the grandparents. We'd be dead tired during the first few days, 'cause all we do is visiting all the great aunts' and great uncles' houses. And then there'd be an overload of food, sweet cookies, sweet carbonated drinks...

Hmm. Maybe it's the carbonated drinks that's missing this year. hahaha. Hence the "simple" feeling.

Nah, it's really simple yet one of the most enriching one i've had. I've learnt that when we go visiting, it's the Quality that matters instead of Quantity of the visit. Okay, that was my emo side talking. But the Quantity matters most when collecting those Green packets. Setan betul. No, but really. : D

Did i tell you how we're working on the third day of raya? While everyone's visiting each other, and exchanging stories while munching on kuih rayas, we're stuck indoors staring at Microsoft Excel? Not that i'm complaining, but yeah...Kasi tau je.

The sky is finally blue again! Baru la sesuai...Bertambah la mood Raya, macam ni. Hehehe. Whee. Saturday and Sunday promises free food...Food marathon...jamboree makanan, or whatever you wanna call it. Bad stuff? NO. ahahha.

Okay, to those (more like, one specific person, :D) yang sebok sangat nak pergi Aquaria, please schedule it to be on a weekday, preferably after our internship dah habis, ok? They feed the sharks on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays (kot). So kalau nak, we can go on those days, okay?

Hello, hello.

Finally, the holidays are here. 'Tis the time again for us to indulge. Lemang, rendang, lontong, ketupat, sambal goreng, kuih muih and yang sewaktu dengannya. Slurp. I had lemang today...hehe. A Pre-Raya session.

On Friday, i had to go out of the office to hand out about 50 surveys. I went alone, in foreign LRT Stations. Hahaha. It scared me at first...when i found out i had to go alone. I was more worried than scared la. Mostly 'cause i've never been to Jelatek, Dato' Keramat, Setiawangsa LRT stations and the like. Anyhoo, i finished sooner than i thought i would...which was before lunch hour. So, i got bored... I don't know if some of you noticed, but i'm pretty spontanious. Just guess where i went, during that hour?

Just GUESS...

Yeah, i went to Aquaria. Alone. I enjoyed it. Touched some bamboo sharks, and stuff. I think the guy at the touch pool was hitting on me. HAHAHAH. Anyway... I was minding my own business all the way, okay. Then when i was in the deep sea tank, i was alone in the middle of the tank. Surrounded by sharks. I love love love sharks, but...it felt a little scary. I was pretty sure it was the background song that made me feel that way. Stupid. Couldn't they have played a much more happy song like, "Under the Sea" in The Little Mermaid? Sheesh.

Fine, I then quickened my pace a little to catch up with the crowd...which happened to be school children from some Sekolah Menengah. Hahah. malu gile. Just before i stepped out of the tunnel thing, i was simply admiring the school of fishes swimming like they had no troubles at all. I mean...i'm sure it takes a lot of guts to swimm happily when you're being placed in the same tanks as some sang tiger sharks. HOHO.

Anyway, suddenly *jeng jeng jeng* splash came two divers wearing black body suits with yellow stripes...with a blue pail. All i remembered telling myself was..."OMG, Divers...Feed... Sharks...Oh, and cute butt." But yeah, then all the little fishies, turtles had a feast la. Sotong for lunch. Later, the Sand Tigers, and the HUGE rays joined for lunch.

Thank you, to those who wished me love and well over the past few days. And also to those who actually blogged about me. hahaha. Terharu, kay. Yeah, according to Li, i'm no more a teenager, but an "ager". What the hell, right? ahhaha.

I was flattered because some of my super old friends actually remembered by birthday, after all these years. We were once best friends la...but time drifeted us apart. Anisha and i were super close in '98. Hahah. We did almost everything together. Whenever she didn't come to school, i'd be super lost. That was me back then. I've accepted that we can never be too dependant on anyone but ourselves. People come and go, but you need to make it on your own. I understand that some are lucky enough to have friends who you'll grow old with...that's really nice. i do think so, and i feel envious of those people. hehe. But it's all good.

Knowing that my old friends remember by birthday made me feel so bad. I am BAD BAD BAD with dates. I have issues remembering things, la ok? I dont remember her birthday. I only know my mom's, dad's, sister's, a few cousins, a few aunts, and a few friends. That's it. Grr. So don't be asking me when's anybody's birthday. I once had a birthdate book, but i lost it. Shit. Anyway, if you're reading this, thanks Anisha!! You totally made my day.

Talk about how easily i crack up, i followed my mom and dad to shop for groceries, and i found it so fascinating... what was, you ask? hehe. The sun finally shone this morning, instead of hiding behind the murky air. The trip to work this morning was like usual...like canned tuna/beef/mutton curry/chicken.

Right now, (as usual) the afternoon "sleepy period" has begun. Eyes are heavy, speech is slurring. I can smell the other people's lunch. Smells of Gravy, fried chicken, steamed white rice...lingering in the air. Just about 11 days of fasting, je. It feels like Ramadhan is passing by really fast. Maybe it's the working hours. It takes up most of our time.

Can't wait to chiow, today. Can't wait for the weekend, again. Grr.

By the way, i LOVE YOU, John Mayer!! The real one, la.

Minggu ini Dalam Sejarah... Again.

Greetings.
My week went fine, How was yours? I'm a bit puzzled as to why they're so many "celebs" on my tag board these days. hahaha. Grr. I only know one person who's doing it, but who's Paris? Yeah, lah. Keep it coming, you people.

I'm feeling rather lazy to type anything, and since pictures tell a million words... Let's take advantage of that.

I was simply roaming around my garden this afternoon, because the blue sky had an effect on me. I'm telling you...my mood depends on the weather! Blue skies make me really happy...and gloomy hazy days get me feeling low down. Anyhoo, here're some snap shots of various textures and colours in my garden (that makes me happy).

Li's out for a recording session, while i'm alone here feeling restless. I'm sleepy. I'm wearing such casual clothes, man. Maybe a little too casual. But i feel comfy.

I heard someone sneeze. And another.

Look outside your window. What do you see? yeah..nothing. hahaha. It's so hazy, i feel dizzy and disoriented. I'm not in the mood to go back home alone. grr. It'll be long and draggy.

During lunch i took the monorail to Bukit Bintang just to move my legs. It wasn't too crowded, which was good. I was looking forward to see things that are more alive...unlike the paper clips, or the stapler, or that piece of post notes on my office desk... Things that would sooth my eyes. I saw colours, different textures, different kinds of people... i heard music, upbeat John Mayer music...I smelt many different scents, KFC, smoke, perfume...i touched different textures, supple leather, moist lotion, cold metal poles, hard plastic cards. Unfortunately (or fortunately) i couldn't taste anything. ahha.

Funny how it's Thursday again. Hmm. I'm glad it's thursday, which means the weekends are just around the corner. I'm not that glad that it's like we let our lives pass by so quickly. We're never gonna go back in time. Savour the moment.

I hope everyone's still doing great at work, and still tahaning their puasa. hehe. Cuti is 3 weeks away. It sounds like it's just around the corner, but it feels so far away! Dontcha think? Grr. What's the date? Oh. hmm. 2nd October. Raya is what, onm the 21st? Okay, not sure.

I have a thing with taking pics of random things, now. hehe. Like yesterday, i saw a piece of kuih "seri muka" already tergolek-ed on the pathway. hahaha. Hilarious la. I will post pictures up weekly; pictures that wither made my week, or i thought was inspirational, or weird, or something that pissed me off. Anything la.
