Happy Merdeka Day, whatever it is to you.

It breaks my heart to see rempits rempit-ing with flags attached to them like capes. Grr. That's what Merdeka is, you see.

Last night my family and i went through the sea of traffic just to get a peek of the fireworks in Putrajaya. Instead of taking the exit to Putrajaya from the highway (which was impossible to do, anyway), we took the exit to KLIA and backtracked to Putrajaya from the other side.

Who knew we weren't the only ones who had the idea. So basically, every road which lead to and from Putrajaya was literally blocked.

Despite the massive, massive jam, we managed to watch the fireworks. I prefer last week's location, though. Nicer view of the fireworks. This time around, the Japanese's fireworks were different than the Italians'.

As midnight approached, the fireworks were shot. Lower than the Italians, but more colourful.

Apparently the the Japanese fireworks' tube-like exterior are made out of paper instead of metal. More traditional, i suppose?

Because of the restricted view and height of the fireworks, i only managed to capture few good pictures. Too few. Here's some.

Last weekend was pretty interesting.

Was in Melaka for a day trip to see a cousin, and dad had to present a talk in UiTM for her class. Represen'in'!

On the way back, we stopped by Putrajaya. I managed to convinced them parents to watch some fireworks. Team Italia was up that night for the competition. Not bad, but wasn't that great either. But still, the pyrotechnics were pretty awesome. Like glitters in the sky, i loved it.

What's Italy without its signature red and green colours?
As the star shaped fireworks went off, the crowd went whoa....

...then the Heart shaped one came out and the crowd went Awww.

The bridge looks spectacular at night, eh?

This one's a little shaky, but by the end, it was so colourful!
You can almost imagine Italians dancing around to the sounds of a Mandolin.

Ta-da! Muy Bueno! Fantastico! Whatever-co!

Team Japan will be blowin up their goods on Merdeka Eve at midnight. Pack up and let's go, people. Traffic gets pretty heavy, but i felt like it's kinda worth it. Provided you plan when and where you stop to watch.

Apparently Team Australia was great the other day.(Duh, they're the world champion)

I am only doing this because i got Tagged by Vanessa Gan

1) Each player must post these rules first.
2) Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
3) People who are tagged need to write on their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
4) At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
5) Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

Hilyah's 8 random facts

1. Fact : I get Musical Orgasms. Lovestoned, for example *rawr!*

2. Fact : Sometimes when i'm really sad, i run. But not enough to kurus la.

3rd Degree seperation

Yo yo. It is indeed, time for an update. I can almost see virtual cobwebs hanging in the corner of my internet browser. :D

Nothing much has been happening lately, besides college and makan sessions.

Ever since high school, I've always doodled; in class, on the toilet walls, on many types of surfaces...including my uniform's kain kurung, notebooks, textbooks, skin (mine and friends'), pencil boxes, walls, blackboards, anything la.

I'm not a great artist, but i like doodling... it's therapeutic.

Last week (Or was it this week, I've terrible memory), a friend offered to pay me for a tattoo design. HOHO. I've never designed a tattoo, ever, and it'd be super cool, if it turns out great. Though i will be designing it on paper, i want it to be great la, if not, mampos.

I mean, the closest thing to a tattoo, that I've done for friends are just out of Henna. So even if i DID make a mistake, it'd be gone by two weeks top. Hahaha. I don't think anybody paid for them, though. : )

Another friend just broke a news that made my heart beat 10 times than the normal pace.

Red Hot Chilli Peppers and i, we're 3rd degree friends!!! Long Story short, apparently this dude is my friend's classmate, and he's quite kamching with Flea, RHCP's bassist. Crap.

CRAP.

Now i gotta find who's connected to Incubus, Johnny Depp, John Mayer, Elvis and Oprah.
