Okay. One hilarious thing about American Idol is, the amount of dillusional people who went for the auditions!

My tummy ached of laughing so badly at the people trying out for the auditions and at my dad's howling laughter. Adoi... Macam macam la. But my favourite act was by the dude singing and dancing to Micheal jackson's "Thriller".

He went like, "Thrillerrrr, err....Thr...iilleerr.......*dance dance dance, tap tap tap, swingggggg*, ...oh crap."

Hahahaha.

In the end, the people who'll make it to the real competition are all the boring people.

Woohoo.

This is hilarious. Watch How Ashlee Simpson screwd up on stage. On TV!
I choked with disgust. And a little of humour.

I was surfing on friendster and myspace when i suddenly came upon a page of a "friend" in my list. That page was just super noisy! Not in an audible kind of way, but in a visual kind of way. You know why? Because not only the primary photo was with their Gf/BF, but the same picture is set to be their wallpaper!! And set at "Tiles". So the picture will repeat every square inch.

Don't get me wrong... they can put la their pictures together, but why make it so.....how shall i put it...? Like you're attention deprived or something. Hello? We're not blind. After looking at that kind of page, just maybe we can go blind.

I appreciate those who are in a relationship who do not boast of it. They act...sane and really humble and grounded to earth about it. I don't think it an easy thing to do...but some are able to.

I dont see why you should post hundreds of pictures of you and your significant other doing the same pose, just in a different light or background. Or hundreds of pictures with your significant other kissing you all over the place. Tak ayu.

Eee.

Friday
20th January 2006
1949 Hours.

Its only mid January, and the workload is taking its toll on most of us now. For instance, i keep forgeting which group mates are for which subjects. I even get confused with assignments which should be done. Each assignment from each subject are someone about the same thing; Campaigns. Both for a social cause and a product campaign. Grr.

I'm somewhat excited for May when some of us get to go to Kuantan for the CRM presentation. Holiday come Academic seminar weekend. Hoho. Two in one. Good, eh? Say, maybe some of us who're not involved with the seminar should go along!! Then we can enjoy enjoy together gether! And then only we can really get Dr. I drunk! I know la plan tu poyo... but it sounds funny to me. So, shh!

Oh another thing is about our Industrial Training for our June. I've heard so many things about being an intern from our seniors. Some good. Some bad. Whatever it is, i'm nervous about it. I know nada about what's going on in the industry! Someone please educate me! Most of my friends have people to ask help from. Its just whether they want to ask for it or not. They have moms/uncles/aunties to ask silly questions to. I'm just super virgin at this scene, man. I may sound pathetic, but i need guidence lah. So to those yang baik hati, tunjuk ajar in any form is greatly appreciated!

So anyway.

Today we had an extra Agama classes from 2-5 pm. So we went up to class as planed and we were actually just in time for it. But the cikgu wasn't there yet. We kinda thought that i guess it was ok, since he must have went for friday prayers. But we had to wait for slightly more than 35 minutes for him, and we were'nt in a very patient mood. I mean...Its friday and you just don't want to wait do you?

So.

We decided that we should wait for 10 more minutes. But. We kinda thought we wanted to run away from the cikgu anyway. So we said, "Okay la. Dah 5 minit. Jom la blah before he comes". And so we did. Only a few (more like 4 people maybe) stayed. Aida, Liyana and i decided we should run over to Subang Parade to check some stuff out. But as we were reaching Parade, Vann called me saying someone msged Radd..."cikgu dah sampai" or something like that.

Li and i thought to ourselves, "oh well. It was his fault, afterall that he was late." Obviously it was being said to console our conscience. Hah. In Parade, we went all over. From Anna sui's glowing foundation powder, to Blook's funky shirts, to tea and apple turnover in Delifrance. Oh, we even tried out some boots ourselves. Lawa. So, if any of our mothers would ask, "What did you learn in Agama class?"We'd say, "We learnt how to glow with suci-ness"<--- Note: Anna Sui's foundation.

That was all in a day's work.

"Hold me closer, Tiny Dancer!"

I am currently listening to Dave Grohl's sexy voice singing the line above. Total Hotness. Grrr.

Today after class we kind of wasted 10 bucks playing footsol/handball. Well, i find it was wasting for the fact that we didn't have enough players and we ended up playing only 1/2 the court. I like playing ball games. Okay, but i prefer handball. I can't kick the ball i the desired direction. Hoho. Brendon wants to play badminton next. I can't wait. I like sports. Only those that not need me to run in great distantces. We need new players next time if we wanna play footie. I suggest we go to Extreme sports instead. It's in Sunway. Its more airy.

I was seriously pooped by the time i got home. Running around the court and laughing like an idiot at the same time was tiring. I hurried to the bathroom as i unlocked the door. I needed gallons of water to cool me off. Nothing beats the afterbath feeling. Absolute bliss. Oh. And listening to Dave grohl.

Make Do!

First week of the new semester is almost up. It felt like was just yesterday when we started the semester. Oh wait, it was yesterday. Hmm. Oh well. we still havent met all our lecturers. Most of them are familiar. Except for Ms. Roseline, our Islamic Studies lecturer and Ms. Catherine. Kaling thinks Catherine's face looks like she just gulped down on vinegar. Hmm. Oh i dunno. She's ok so far. One class is not enough to judge any lecturers.

Check out Mr. Phua for example. He seemed like one Jeng computer geek. he always had his yellow raincoat on him whenever he had to go through the rain. He rides the motorcycle, u see. Turns out that he was an Ah Beng with wits that could keep you awake for 3 hours straight of IDTP. Oh well.

Groups for CPM have been divided. How do you guys like your groups? Good? Not Good? Ala. If anthing oso, we can't really do anything about it. We don't have the power to change the situation that we're in... so we should "Make do.." according to Dr Irene. HAHA. We should learn to manage stress. Keeping calm will do more good than harm. It keeps you thinking straight("stret"). As i say this, it is also a reminder for me. I hope i'll remember la. If not you guys tolong remindkan, okay? Its only the first week anyway. ahaha. Enjoy the freeness of time now, while we still can.

Spent the Raya Haji cooking something not so ordinary. We, as in my mom and i made the extra effort to cook Nasi tomato, Vegetable Keema, and Chicken Kari/Dhal. Yummy. That was for lunch... and dinner. But we had barbeque for dinner as well. Cousins came over for dinner. They're parents are all over. Ones in Mecca, while another's down in singapore. 11 of us chomping on lamb and chicken and Nasi tomato. Later we reminise old times when we spent Raya puasa in Teluk Kurau, Singapore. Grandad's place was THE bomb. Haih. Old photo albums were dug out of the drawer. hahah. Major laughing session. Oh well. Need to catch on with some sleep now. Till later.

Hilyah.

Have you ever heard of a cyclops kitten?!
Check out January 8th Star Newspaper.

The Kitten was born with only one eye in the middle of its face and without a nose, in Oregon last december. It died after a day it was born. Its other siblings were born with normal physical conditions. I swear the picture was scary. Poor mutant kitty.

My heart aches like it never had.
A student's worst nightmare... Scarce resources. Like, duh...Money.

I hate it when Economics terms and principles are irritatingly real.

This past few weeks i've been thinking of place to continue my studies. A part of me tells me to stay. But another part of me tells me to venture to the land down under. Yeah, it sounds typical of Malaysian students to go there...but i hate to admit it, they do have a lot to offer. The experience there is simply unique. They're a mass land being isolated from the rest of the world. New Zealand included. Its amazing. They're uniquely themselves. For example, clothes and fashion trends. They can't be following the trends of 4 seasoned country in the northern hemisphere. When it's summer in Australia, it could be snowing like mad in Paris. So. Yeah those little things make the whole experience different.

The fun part about choosing where to go to is fun. Think of all the choices in the world you have. From Bachelor in music where u learn how to do recording and producing CDs and DVDs... to doing Criminology for your Degree. Everytime i find a course which seems interesting, my heart races with excitement. I'd daydream how my life would be...in Curtin Uni. A daily dosage of day dreaming about it actually makes me feel motivated to achieve my goals.

Motivation is great. It moves you. Now comes the tricky part. Being financially fit to live and study there. It then struck me like a thunder bolt and i realised that this whole thing is irritatingly real. How i wish i can wish upon a star tonight, for bundles and bundles of cash to pay fo my family's expenses for life...hmm. Wouldn't that just be wonderful? I could apply for the Astro scholarship. But the thought of thousands of people applying for the same spot is terrifying. Imagine hundreds of smart fries like Alisson signed up for the scholarship? I wouldn't stand a chance! But i would still take a whack at it.

Hmm. We're worried like mad about education. Imagine all the other problems we will be facing in the future. Car Loan(s), House rents/loan(s), taxes, EPF, Living expenses, supporting children... I pray to god he will guide me through it all. I pray for all. Part and parcel of being human. And being adults.

"Growns ups are suppossed to have all the answers...but we don't.
We're still learning..."

Cheers
to a bright future!

Happy New Year!

Yes, today is the first day of 2006. *sigh* Time sure flies fast. When it comes to this time of the year, everybody will blo about how their past year had been. Good, bad, horrilble, terrific. Well, no matter how bad or great it was, we should be thankful. Life's like a wheel. And i believe in that saying. Some times you do great....other times you feel like crap. They don't call it life for fun. Heh.

The past year had deffinately been...great. In different ways. Though my family and i hadn't been financially stable like the years before, but i learnt a lot from being broke. Well. I still have a bad financial habbit, but i see things in a different point of view lah. Imagine if i get money more easily... i'de prolly be a major shopaholic. Hmm. I mean, even with my broke-ness i still shop, and have power lunches. In the end, i always feel guilty of letting my money run out of my bank account like a loose water tap.

Oh well.

I hear the National Service advertisement playing on the idiot box. And the tv's on the other room. Sheesh.

Oh i know one thing is for sure. About the past year i mean. My friends in college had been awesome. Though we may not be the closest friends, i have to admit. It was fun hangin with you guys. We share amazing knowledge on geography (peru in Brazil/Europe) , Taste in music (Incubus, Brandon boyd, Foo Fighters and Dave Grohl), Power Lunches (Teapot cafe, Italiannese thanks to Dee!), Our own By demand Top Ten chart, and our Enthusiasm on shopping as a sport.

My non college friends had been great too. Credits given especially to Dee! Who knew we'd be on the same campus... hahaha. Raya makan sessions were awesome. To be able to see familliar faces just brings a smile upon my face. Though we really need to meet up more often. Yum Cha sessions tak cukup lah last year.

Currently listening to InYour Honour by Foo Fighters.
